My 1st meal back was a bowl of watermelon and Cucumber Crunchers. Half of lettuce leaf,cucumber slice and spoonful of salsa. Made 9 of them
It was all so delicious. The watermelon seemed very sweet to me. I took very small bites. So yummy. The Crunchers were so awesome. I loved them, but honestly I couldn't eat all 9. Gave a few away to kids
Was a great meal. Will keep an eye on myself to how I do. But feel great
Actually had two people notice that I lost weight. Was great to get accolades and share.
For a mid day snack. I was getting a little drained. I hadn't been drinking much water, so I picked up teh pace on that and ate another bowl of watermelon. It really hit the spot. It is really tough to think of changes and fluid intake in a new way and eating again. Most of me really doesn't want to eat that much.
For a late nighter, I made up a smackin' good smoothie. It was fresh pineapple, frozen strawberries, some watermelon, and a frozen banana w/ about 8 oz. of coconut milk from Trader Joe's. It was so yummy . So, not a bad day over all. I could feel something in my belly, but it was never heavy. I'm probably going to take day off tomorrow...Just in case...lol. But food is tasting so good. I'm so glad to be eating healthy and great stuff. Kind of working out small menus for teh week, so I can get through work days again and transistion back.
